At the heart of the Monday, Calibre RVI2023 reinvents the micro-rotor automatic winding system. Its architecture integrates a mainspring, \u201cthe dancer\u201d, combined with a flywheel, which optimises the recovery of energy produced by wrist movements.<\/p>

The \u201cdancer\u201d stores this energy and releases it back to the mechanism, thereby improving winding efficiency. It also plays a protective role: in the event of a shock, its disengagement system absorbs the impact before returning to its initial position.<\/p>

Designed specifically around this invention, the RVI2023 combines contemporary architecture with a construction entirely dedicated to the performance of the micro-rotor. Its design also makes the mechanics fully visible, notably the decorated ratchet-wheel bridge featuring engraving and Grand Feu enamelling, the Monday\u2019s aesthetic signature.<\/p>

Crafted in 18K 5N+ pink gold, the 40.8 mm case of the Monday is designed as much for the wrist as for the eye. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the light reveals a mechanism designed to be admired in full. The dial in shades of green and taupe grey combines frosted and sunburst finishes in a quest for balance between material, light and legibility.<\/p>

On the wrist, a hand-sewn fabric-effect British racing green calfskin strap enhanced by beige topstitching echoing the case colour is fastened with a matching pin buckle.<\/p>

The sides of the case are entirely hand-engraved. Each touch shapes a subtle relief that catches the light and reveals new nuances in the gold.
