Dominique Renaud's expertise in the design of mechanical movements and fine watchmaking complications is matched by a recognised mastery of skeletonisation. Indeed, it was during his early years in haute horlogerie that the young watchmaker forged this expertise in a workshop devoted to skeleton watches. Julien Tixier's own expertise is distinguished by a pursuit of artisanal perfection and finishing techniques of the highest order. A watchmaker and prototypist in the fullest sense of the term, he has a rare command of the watchmaker's craft to every detail, reflected in his particular attention to finishing, including bevelling, black polishing on titanium and the creation of inward angles, all by hand.
From this inspiration was born the Monday Skeleton. It builds on the original Monday, introduced in 2024, while taking Renaud Tixier’s first creation in a resolutely more contemporary direction.
